Project
Warm modern kitchen remodel in Laguna Beach
This kitchen remodel in Laguna Beach turned a dated, disjointed layout into a cohesive space that blends warm natural materials with contemporary design. We installed European-style flat-panel wood cabinetry, a marble backsplash and countertops, and a waterfall-edge island with seating for three. We also refreshed the bathroom and updated lighting, flooring, and fixtures throughout so the whole home flows together.

The Homeowners’ Goals
The home had an outdated layout and finishes that lacked cohesion and modern function. The homeowners wanted a stylish, functional space that paired natural, organic materials with contemporary design.
Our Approach & Work Completed
We rebuilt the kitchen around European-style flat-panel wood cabinetry, including glass-front display uppers, a paneled refrigerator wall, and a matching wood range hood.
We installed a marble backsplash and countertops, a waterfall-edge island with an undermount sink and bar seating, and open shelving with built-in lighting beside a wine fridge.
We redesigned the bathroom with a double-sink vanity in wood cabinetry matching the kitchen and white ceramic tile, then updated lighting, hardwood flooring, and fixtures throughout the home for a seamless flow.

The Result
The finished kitchen feels warm and open, with rich wood cabinetry, bright marble surfaces, and light hardwood floors that carry into the adjoining living and dining areas.
