Homeowner reviews and project stories

D&C remodelled the bathroom of our 100+ year old craftsman house, transforming it from a dilapidated (and poorly-flipped) space into the most beautiful room in our house. From the beginning to the end of the process, they were transparent and efficient, and approached the process with equal amounts of competence and taste. We are so thrilled with the end result and would recommend them to anyone seeking any sort of renovation work.

D&C took our very old-fashioned, DESPERATELY-in-need-of-a-remodel kitchen and made it our mid-century modern paradise. It's no joke living in your home while a full demolition and remodel is happening, and D&C's team was consistently kind, professional, thoughtful, and excellent at their jobs. Ivanna has the most creative design eye (our terrazzo flooring and BEAUTIFUL green tile are such highlights!!) and Nadeer's construction-centered perspectives made the entire process seamless. We are THRILLED with our kitchen and can't wait to hire D&C for any other project in the future!!!!

Ron was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was always available when we needed him, flexible and accommodating as we made changes along the way, and really listened to what we wanted. He was knowledgeable, proactive, and great about communicating and finding solutions throughout the project. Most importantly, he executed what we asked for and the quality of his work was great. We’re very happy with how everything turned out and would definitely recommend Ron to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled contractor! It was a ground up 2BD2BA ADU.

DC Builders are the best!! The whole process was seamless, from the initial blueprints to picking out materials, and every part of the renovation. We had our kitchen completely remodeled and could not be more happy with the outcome. In addition, they restored and stained our original hardwood floors that were underneath 20 year old laminate. In all the project took only about 5 weeks and they helped expedite and finish a day before our newborn arrived! We were so stressed it wouldn’t be done in time, but they went above and beyond making sure we did. Definitely will come back for future renovations!

I have referred Design and Create Builders to many of my clients who are looking to do anything from a bathroom remodel to a complete rebuild and everything in between. Aside from the amazing quality of work they pour into what they do it’s the amazing level of service they give to all of my clients. They pick up all of their calls, respond to texts/emails immediately and answer all of their questions from beginning to end. As a realtor I can tell you that is unheard of! Thanks to Design and Create Builders I look like a rockstar in the eyes of my clients. They have all called me back thanking me for the amazing recommendation. I will forever continue referring them to all of my clients and using them for my listing preps. You guys are the best. Thank you for taking such good care of all of my clients.

Great TEAM. From designer, to their crew, to the project managers, everyone was very professional and helpful. We did a 400 SF addition to our home as well as fully remodeled the interior. Our bathrooms were my favorite. They helped us even select finishes such as tile and fixtures. Highly recommend

Design and Create Builders did a wonderful job remodeling our two bathrooms. The quality of their work is excellent. They stayed on budget and were close to their promised timeline. This was our first time doing major renovations, so we didn’t have anything to compare it to. When we met with Nadeer and Ivana the first time, we walked through both bathrooms and discussed what we wanted. They offered suggestions and came back with a plan and a bid within a week. We looked at three bids and theirs was much more comprehensive and lower in cost. We decided to move forward. We shared Pinterest boards that gave them ideas for styles, colors and products. We completely gutted both bathrooms, a hall bath and an ensuite. In the ensuite, we moved the toilet and expanded the shower. We replaced the toilet, vanity, mirror, and light fixture. We also replaced the window. In the hall bath, we replaced the vanity and toilet, changed a tub to a walk-in shower, and installed an LED mirror/medicine cabinet. We included built-in benches in both showers and frameless glass doors. Finally, they installed canned lighting in both bathrooms. The tile work in both bathrooms is outstanding. They both look modern and have a spa-like feel. At the end of the project, we discovered that an exhaust fan had been mounted instead of recessed. They sent someone that same day to make the correction with no issues. The only thing we found frustrating was that there were a few things that we ended up having to reorder or pick up at the last minute because we weren’t given specific dimensions or advanced notice. I ordered a medicine cabinet instead of a mirror for added storage. After the workers put it together and discarded the box it came in I was told we couldn’t use it because of structural limitations. That was fine, but then it had to be disassembled and we had to pay to box it up to ship it back. I then ordered a mirror, but wasn’t given dimensions, and it covered an outlet. Luckily I came on site in time to have it boxed back up and ordered a third option after given specific dimensions. This could have been avoided if we had discussed it more in depth, but I didn’t know which questions to ask. Also, we chose a shower floor tile that was in stock weeks in advance of installation. But the tile was actually ordered later by the installer and was found to be out of stock. We had to make a last minute run to the tile store, shop, choose and buy new tile that evening in time to continue installation without delay. I include these things only to let other first time clients know to keep in touch and verify before you purchase items. We communicated primarily through a group chat, and sometimes responses were delayed. It is understandable, but something to be aware of. Communication is key to keeping all parties informed which keeps stress levels at a minimum and keeps projects working smoothly. Overall though, we are very pleased with the quality of the work, the price, and the timeline. We would definitely use D & C Builders again for another project. Their workmanship is high level and they are very nice people to work with.

I recently hired Design & Create Builders to remodel two of my bathrooms and completely upgrade the entire front of my house, and I could not be happier with the results. From the very beginning, they brought an incredible design sense to the project. They listened to my ideas and elevated them with creative, modern concepts that perfectly fit my style. Their attention to detail is unmatched: every finish, tile layout, and fixture was executed with absolute precision. Beyond the top-tier quality of their craftsmanship, they are simply fun to work with. Home renovations can be incredibly stressful, but their team brought great energy, clear communication, and a positive attitude to the job site every single day. If you are looking for a contractor that delivers beautiful results while making the process enjoyable, I highly recommend Design & Create Builders!

Great job would definitely recommend

This was the most exciting and enjoyable experience with Ron. This company does it all with total confidence. They keep me updated throughout the whole project. Best of all no hidden fees just offers updates to save money or enhance the look. My ADU is perfect. Thank you Ron and all the team from Design And Create Builders. Ray

I wanted to have my garage converted into a ADU. Well it was a clear choice. Ron and the team are amazing. From start to finish. They updated me including giving me options. If you’re looking for a company who is safe and at a good rate this is the company. Thank you Ron

I got my 2nd story mini ADU built by this company. Ron was the GC for my project. From the design phase all the way to inspections, if my wife and I had any questions or concerns Ron would answer them as quickly as he could and resolved any issues we had which were not really many at all. They were very friendly & professional. The workmanship was good the end result was even better. We will definitely go with these guys for our next project in the future. I cannot recommend them enough!

Just finished my ADU. The D&C team did a wonderful job and had excellent communication. We were having some delays from the county and they fought hard to reduce anymore delays from the county. Definitely went above and beyond.

Me and my wife just finished the kitchen model with the company. Nadeer was great, and the entire team was very responsive. We are very pleased with their craftsmanship.

Great team, the owners are very easy to communicate with and were attentive to all our needs. We were on a time crunch as we had to rent a place while we did the interior remodel and D&C worked as fast as possible dealing with permits, helping us with design, and to the actual build/ material finishes. Recommend them for your renovating needs

This is my second time working with Design and Create Builders, and they continue to impress. After they did an incredible job on our full interior remodel (custom kitchen, hardwood floors, bathrooms), we knew we’d be calling them again. This time around, we took on a new house project, and just like before, the team was professional, communicative, and delivered high-quality work. It’s rare to find a company you can trust to get it right every time. Can’t recommend them enough!

After getting many estimates I decided to go with Nad and couldn't be happier! He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the project. He has transformed my boring backyard to a fabulous oasis with a great entertainment area! Highly recommend!

Great renovation company. Nad helped us from design to build. I felt extremely supported/comfortable throughout the kitchen renovation process and he answered all my questions. We also did new wood flooring throughout the home. I’m so happy to have it ready just in time for the holidays coming up 😊

I first met Ron 6 months ago, in April. I was unsure what I wanted for my backyard, but he proposed a beautiful design featuring a waterfall, dry creek, and a combination of pavers and turf. He had fair pricing so I chose Design and Create. The entire project was a very positive experience. Ron has excellent communication and when an irritation pipe burst at 8PM one night in August, he had a crew out here fixing it that same night! Needless to say, the outcome is amazing and my wife and I couldn’t be happier. All in all, I highly recommend using this company, thank you Ron!!

I used Ron for a front and backyard remodel of my new house I found him through Realm. I have never owned a home before and a remodel is always somewhat stressful but Ron's cool demeanor was very helpful throughout the process. His workers were friendly and professional and he saw the project through from start to finish. Even helped us correct a few things that we didn't anticipate and never fought us on it. I would recommend Ron to anybody looking for design and construction help. We are so happy with how it turned out.

My new kitchen looks amazing, and the entire experience was stress-free. Highly recommend Design And Create Builders for any renovation needs! Thanks, Nad, and the team!

We hired Nad to carry out renovations on our property, focusing primarily on the kitchen. A major part of the project involved the complete removal of a partial wall separating the kitchen and the family room. Once all preliminary matters with the city were resolved, the work began in full swing. I can confidently say that Nad and his team of skilled, professional tradespeople delivered exactly what was promised. We are extremely satisfied with the outcome and feel we received excellent value for our investment. The company employs a team of qualified, enthusiastic, and competent staff who expertly handled various aspects of the renovation. Everyone who worked on the project demonstrated a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every element was properly executed and aligned. Nad was especially approachable: always available to listen and respond to our concerns with professionalism and care. I highly recommend this company to anyone considering renovation work on their property.

Thank you D&C team for helping me with my garage conversion to ADU! The entire process was really smooth and the team guided me throughout all the steps. Also really appreciated the constant communication and updates during the entire project. I couldn't have done it without D&C.

Ivanna, Ron and team were absolutely astounding to work with as we headed into uncertain territory with our first home. Unfortunately, we lost our first home before we got to move in but the work that these guys did (specifically the efficiency with which Ivanna made elevations and design suggestions) was superb. We highly recommend this team.

Highly recommend this company. We hired them for a full interior remodel: custom kitchen, hardwood flooring throughout our home, new bathrooms, and more. We have larger plans after this to build an ADU and will definitely reach out to them. 🙏

We love our new kitchen. The company was very professional and experienced. They brought us samples of the cabinets to see color options as well as the countertops. Really helped that they provided a visualization as other companies i have worked with did not have this option.

Thanks so much to D&C Builders for a beautiful kitchen remodel. We love it! Ron & Nad were very organized & showed up when needed. I have worked with several contractors throughout my real estate career and am happy to rank Nadeer and his team at the top! They are always willing to go above and beyond to not only solve challenging issues but to make sure my clients are well informed along the way. One of the most important things to me personally is client presentation and interaction. Nadeer and his team are consummate professionals and create a great environment during remodel projects putting not only myself but also the clients at ease. They have also helped me urgent, last minute projects that have saved me a couple closings, no doubt. If you want to make your life easier through stressful projects, call Nadeer!

Just finished a kitchen remodel and love it! It came out beautiful and just what we wanted. We had the team demo the entire kitchen, replace the sub floor that had water damage, add a new tile floor, completely new custom cabinets, quartz countertops and tile backsplash. They installed a new sink and reinstalled our stove, range microwave and hooked up our new fridge for water. They did it all, while other contractors told us we would need to fine a plumber to do those extras. They even switched out our outlets for us. They were able to start the job just 1 week after the estimate and finished the whole job in 5 days. Nadeer, Omar, Eric and the other guys were all very professional and friendly. They also offered helpful design advice we hadn’t thought of, like moving the fridge over a bit to elongate the counter in one section and bordering the side of the window in front of the sink with quartz to match the countertop. Price was fair and great value for the quality of work and quick turnaround time. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again.

After interviewing several contractors, we selected Design And Create Builders for our backyard remodel. The entire experience, from the 3D design to the final finishing touches was a fantastic experience. They came in and designed a backyard of our dreams (we would never have envisioned what they designed) and the 3D renderings really gave us a true vision of what it would look like. The communication and process of signing contracts was extremely professional and accurate. Ron set a proper expectations and was always available to us when we had questions. He was always on site overseeing each crew as we went through the different phases of the project. The teams he brought in for each piece of the project were super nice and the quality of work was amazing. In the end, the 3D renderings are exactly what we got! We look forward to working with Ron and his team again on our future projects!!
